WINDOW GRAPHICS OPTIONS

SpeedPro offers multiple options and products for window graphics. You can choose from a variety of materials.  Our most common options include frosted window graphics, window perf, and window clings that are single or double-sided. We fully customize every window graphic to fit your needs. Choose from large impact graphics that cover an entire window, smaller scale graphics, or vinyl lettering.

FROSTED WINDOW VINYL

Frosted window vinyl is great in offices for conference rooms, cubicles, or doors to give privacy.  You can also have your logo or a design etched into it so that it’s not just a plain piece of film covering the window but rather reinforces your branding.  Frosted window vinyl is also great for retail storefronts to prevent a passerby from being able to see directly through it.  Frosted window vinyl also looks very professional in a work environment even if you don’t need the privacy factor.  It helps to enhance the overall space.

WINDOW PERFORATION

Window perforation (window perf) consists of tiny holes throughout the entirety that from a distance are nearly impossible to notice. The idea of this is to print and apply this material to the window so that from the outside you see a printed image but from the inside, you can still see out. Typically you will find this on bus/ car windows to maintain visibility or on windows that have high sun exposure.  Restaurants find this useful in locations where the sun is setting directly on their windows and makes it uncomfortable for dining customers.  When blinds aren’t an option and you want to maximize your window space, perforated windows are the way to go.  They’re also great for rear windows on vehicles allowing you to see out through the inside but making it difficult for people to see inside unless they put their face up to the glass.

WINDOW CLINGS

This is a more affordable option and best for temporary use. We can either print directly to the clear material or we can laminate the back with white to prevent any light from shining through it.  Laminating the back also helps to ensure that your graphics are more vibrant.  Window clings can be useful for retail stores with seasonal promotions or to get into the holiday spirit.  Clear window clings allow light to shine directly through so if you’re looking to block the sun, this will not be the best option.

WINDOW VINYL

There are two options we can use with our high-quality vinyl.  This can be cut vinyl with logo/ lettering or full sheets that can be printed to cover the entire window. Keep in mind, if you cover your entire window with vinyl you will not be able to see directly out like with the window perf.  This will block light coming through.  We do have a translucent vinyl option which allows light to travel through but it’s still not entirely see through.  The translucent vinyl option is good to also help with privacy because you can’t see through it.  Cut vinyl with your logo or lettering is great for retail storefronts to display your information like hours and specials.  Decals like this can cover the entire window or just a small portion.

WHAT TO CONSIDER

One of the first questions we always ask is this: 1st Surface (applied outside) or 2nd Surface (inside looking out)?  Other providers tend to overlook this. Whether it is a short-term cling or a permanent decal, we give answers to questions before you even have them.  Our job is to help you to understand the difference between all of your options and assist with making the right decision for your purpose.  It’s also important to keep in mind where you are located.  We can not only install from the inside or the outside but we can also laminate your graphics with a special anti-graffiti laminate to help avoid any damage to your graphics.  If you’re in a high traffic area, a lamination of any kind is going to be best and this will also allow you to easily clean the full graphic.
