Pantone first got its start in 1963 when Founder Lawrence Herbert created this system to help easily match colors consistently across not only printing but design, and textiles.  Pantone uses a numbering system which helps to ensure a direct color match without having to ever see the original color.  The Pantone system uses CMYK values which is a process used for printing meaning C-cyan, M-magenta, Y-yellow, K-black.  Every December, the Pantone Color Institute makes the decision of what color they predict we’ll be seeing everywhere for the next 365 days.  The 2019 color of the year has been determined as “Living Coral.”  Here are some ideas to help incorporate this bright color into your daily graphics.

“Living Coral” in your office

Stay on top of the latest color trends and don’t be afraid to think outside of the box.  Consider temporary wall graphics in Living Coral and then next year when the color changes so can the colors and graphics on your walls.  Window graphics are another way that you can incorporate this color into your office.  Though your logo may be a different color, adding a splash of color to give your office some life can be a perfect solution to increasing worker productivity.  Nobody likes going into the same boring place every day, but if your office got a new light makeover every year, it gives some variety.  If you don’t feel confident enough to transform a whole wall into a bright color, consider more muted colors with pops of living coral to make it really stand out.

“Living Coral” in your business

Incorporate living coral in your business graphics whether you’re a retail shop or a restaurant. This is the perfect way to give a yearly or seasonal change to your business.  It also makes for a great photo opportunity for visitors to your location.  Instagram worthy locations are trending every day.  It’s free marketing when customers take pictures and share with their network especially when they tag your location in them.  These graphics can be in the form of temporary vinyl lettering which is a quick and affordable solution to help stay on top of the trends.  If you’re looking for something a bit more permanent, 3-dimensional letters that pop out visually can make for a great backdrop.

“Living Coral” in your home

Why paint your wall and be stuck with a single color forever?  Instead, choose the alternative of printing custom wallpaper.  Whether a solid color or a fun design, this allows you to print something creative and then if you change your mind, you can easily remove it.  Add the color of the year to your interior and when it changes next year, you can too.  Our professional installers can help to avoid the frustration of glue and wallpaper by using our high-quality adhesive wallpaper.
